There is something to be said about taking pictures. Somehow when you’re looking through the lens of a camera (or the screen of your phone) you pick up little details that you might miss otherwise.
I encourage everyone to get out and take pretty pictures. First, you’ll refocus your eyes to catch the beautiful things that surround you. I know from my own life, that there are days when nothing goes right or I’m in a depression, and it seems like everything that is around me is negative. If I can refocus my attention to the good things, the pretty things, then I catch myself remembering to put it all on perspective.
Secondly, you just might catch a beautiful moment and be able to pass it on to others who may need a pick-me-up.
So, get out and about, take a walk with your camera and catch some pretty things in your lens. Then take the time to look at them and refocus your energy on the positive!
